How will Singapore’s retail scene look like in the
future?
The anthropogenic climate crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic has exposed flaws in the way we live and consume. Following this year’s theme of “Risk and Resilience”, and narrowing down to the essence of retail culture and spaces for collective climate action, this project explores local and greener alternatives to the import-driven, multinational retail culture of Singapore, and calls for people to reconsider their consumption patterns and incorporate climate activism right into daily life.
